Identifying high performing healthcare IT vendors can be difficult, and when your budget is limited the task is even more strenuous. AEHIS, AEHIT and AEHIA are adding a member benefit to bring you offerings from with discounts and packaged terms from industry leading firms through partnership with CHIME and CHIME Technologies, Inc. CHIME Technologies, Inc. houses the Cooperative Member Services program, through which Foundation firms present these exclusive offerings to members. To assist AEHIS, AEHIT and AEHIA members in stretching your budget and researching new firms, the Cooperative Member Services will be available to you as a member benefit as of September 13.

The Cooperative program will be included in the Member Resources drop-down menu on the AEHIS, AEHIT and AEHIA websites. You will be able to review the offerings and, should an offering fit your needs, submit an inquiry form to start the conversation with the foundation firm. Offerings vary from assessment packages to discounts on monthly subscriptions. New offerings are posted often, so be sure to check the Cooperative page whenever you are reviewing new providers.

Once you submit an inquiry to the Foundation firm, AEHIS, AEHIT and AEHIA does not participate in the sale or negotiation process. CHIME charges no referral or commission fees to our Foundation partners – this program is about connecting members with discounted services. There are no cooperative group buying fees  members. The Cooperative was designed to deep relationships between members and Foundation firms, allowing both branches of the organization to support the efforts of the other. This partnership is key to continuing the growth of all CHIME associations.

Members have enjoyed the benefit of the Cooperative Member Services, and have made purchases that saved their organizations money. Brian Sterud, CHIME member and CIO at Faith Regional Health Services spoke about his experience reaching out and connecting with firms via CHIME’s Cooperative Member Services program.

“We wanted to change who we were using for our security services and when we looked at the offered listings, CynergisTek rose to the top. They offered a program through CHIME with bundled services at a discount that didn’t require us to pick through options. It was a well put together program, but we were also allowed the flexibility to assemble according to our needs. The offering they had through the CHIME partnership was a really good foundational place for us to start that eliminated a lot of upfront questions. I think that knowing they have partnered with CHIME creates a beneficial level of trust.”
